Artist Bill Yates will present work from his highly acclaimed project Sweetheart Roller Skating Rink and other work for a very special Speaking of Photography. The evening will begin with a wine and cheese reception in the gallery at 6:30pm and his presentation will begin at 7:30pm in The Atrium.

Yates’ Sweetheart series lay untouched in a box for fifty years until, at his family’s urging he began showing the work. He met with immediate success becoming a finalist for the prestigious Critical Mass Award, landing a solo exhibition at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and placing images on ACP’s The Fence. Fall Line Press will be publishing the project as a book this fall.
