Woodstock Christmas Jubilee (12.05.15)

Before the parade:
2:00 pm – Start your day at the Elm Street Theater’s free performance of A Christmas Carol and stay afterward for the parade right outside the theater! Bring a can of stew, chili, chunky soup or peanut butter as your ticket to benefit Papa’s Pantry. Monetary donations always appreciated! www.elmstreetarts.org

4:30 pm – Stop by the park and have dinner with our food vendors, or take it to your seat and enjoy during the parade.

5:15 pm – Ready, Set, Go! Watch the Christmas Run 3k just before the parade.

5:30 pm – Here comes the parade with lots of lights and Santa!

Parade: Kick off the holiday season with our traditional Christmas Jubilee Parade of Lights at 5:30 pm. The parade starts and ends at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Rd. It travels up Main St. to Towne Lake Pkwy, Mill St., Market St., Fowler St., Main St. and back to the school. After the parade in The Park at City Center (101 Arnold Mill Rd):

Festival: Bring your children after the parade to The Park at City Center (101 Arnold Mill Rd.) to visit Santa with their wish lists. Our Mayor and Santa will flip the switch to light the Park and Christmas tree! They will announce the winners of the Best Holiday Float and Most Original Float. Music by Ronnie the DJ! Free moonwalk by Colby Family Chiropractic! Enjoy our free marshmallow roast in the park and help the Woodstock Jaycees Christmas Toy Drive.

Santa – Come visit with Santa in the Gazebo!
Official Lighting – Park and Christmas tree lighting
Awards – Best Parade Floats and Citizen of the Year Awards
Free Marshmallow Roast – With s’ mores and cookies from the Woodstock Jaycees, and Woodstock Parks and Recreation.

Movie in the Park at 7:30pm – Short Christmas Classics brought to you by Northside Hospital Cherokee and Southern Outdoor Cinema.

Santa needs your help! Please bring an unwrapped toy to The Park for the Woodstock Jaycee’s Christmas Toy Drive. We appreciate your support!

Santa’s Mailbox at the Gazebo! Have the kids bring their letters to Santa and they will receive a personalized letter back from him! Available December 1st-17th.
