Ponce City Market’s inaugural Holiday Spectacular will officially usher in the 2015 holiday season. A family affair, the Holiday Spectacular is a playful celebration offering festive fun for all ages throughout the day. Images of original Sears Wish Books, a catalog filled with hundreds of pages of gifts for children and adults, will serve as the backdrop for these photo keepsakes. Additional activities include choral performances from local groups serenading guests throughout the Central Food Hall after 3 p.m., a gingerbread making competition display, a live chalk artist, reindeer face painting, elf sightings and more holiday surprises.

Drawing inspiration from the beloved lighting of the Great Tree at Rich’s in downtown Atlanta, Ponce City Market will also host the first lighting of the tower at 7 p.m. Guests will gather outside for front row views as the iconic tower atop The Roof is illuminated for the first time in the building’s history, bringing a touch of holiday magic to the Atlanta skyline.
