Shirley Franklin envisioned that The Center be a place where every child can learn how the American Civil RIghts Movement has impacted the Global Human Rights Movements of today.  The Center was conceived and built under Shirley Franklin and her dedication to creating a safe environment for every child to take ownership of their future. This is aimed to be an annual event where we will be honoring the former Atlanta mayor and her vision.

Throughout this day, family will enjoy crafts, story time, and other activities. Shirley Franklin will be in attendance as well.

Admission for children 18 & under is FREE this day!
