For the months of August and September, the CAC is thrilled to present an exhibition by an artist collective known as The BrushWork Society.

“We are an Atlanta-based core group of 13 artists who have come together to encourage each other along the joyful, but sometimes arduous journey that is art-making. Our broader mission is to be a resource for information and fellowship amongst the artist community at large. We host private workshops with nationally known artists, and offer unique educational and travel opportunities hosted by our Founding Members.

We began our “collective of creatives” with the idea that we want to surround ourselves with a supportive group of artists dedicated to making the best work we can, and to encourage sharing it with others, in whatever form that takes. We are all in different stages of development, but we share a passion for what we do: paint. At our core we are a small-group critique and encouragement circle: the synergy of the fellowship empowers us all.”

Sunday, August 30th, 3:00pm – 5:30pm

FREE Food and Drinks will be provided

Show runs August 13 – October 6, 2015
